Services
The Coeliac Society provides valuable, personal assistance to members via a centrally located Support Centre and Area Contacts throughout Victoria. The Society provides the latest information on research sourced from expert medical professionals, and positive ways of adapting to a gluten free lifestyle which may initially seem overwhelming. The Support Centre is up to date on all acceptable foods and can answer questions and offer encouragement, reassurance and suggestions.
Sessions on all aspects of the diet, food product label reading and nutritional information are conducted regularly at the Support Centre by qualified dietitians specialising in coeliac disease.
The Coeliac Society acts as an advocate to raise awareness to the general public, ensuring the highest possible standard of food labelling is in place for Australians suffering from coeliac disease.

Many manufacturers and caterers rely on the Society to promote their products and services to gluten free consumers. Therefore, members are the first to know of new products and services available.
The Society, having no commercial interests, presents a balanced view on latest innovations and developments while supporting research projects working towards non-dietary treatment of Coeliac Disease.
Our publications are based on the latest research, including relevant topics that relate to coeliac disease. Upon joining, members will receive a comprehensive handbook, ingredient list, recipe book and annual subscription to The Australian Coeliac Magazine (delivered quarterly).
