Member Referred Restaurant/Café List
The Coeliac Society of Victoria has compiled a list of over 600 restaurants that have been referred by members as being able to cater for their gluten free needs.
Disclaimer: Venues on this list have been recommended by a member of the Coeliac Society of Victoria. The venues have NOT been through assessment by the Society, so we are unable to guarantee that they are completely gluten free or are up to date with education on the gluten free diet. Members who visit these venues should ensure they are satisfied with the level of knowledge of the catering staff.
This list has been sorted into Areas as indicated on the map below.

Restaurants and cafés may apply to the Coeliac Society of Victoria to become a Business Member. Restaurants or cafés with Business Membership are provided with a sign and sticker by the society, identifying them as a Business Member - a restaurant/café who cooperates with the Coeliac Society of Victoria Inc to provide gluten free food.
To be eligible to be a Business Member, an applicant must be a professional member of The Coeliac Society of Victoria and satisfactorily complete an application form. The application form contains questions on topics such as gluten free food handling and managing cross contamination issues to ensure that the applicant is suitable to be granted Business Membership.
The information provided by an applicant is not independently verified by The Coeliac Society of Victoria, but is assumed to be correct.
If the applicant is successful, they must pay a $30 fee to receive the Business Membership sticker, sign, listing on the Coeliac Society of Victoria website and priority listing on the full member referred restaurant/café list.
If the society receives two or more complaints from members or patrons that the provision of gluten free food by the Business Member is not satisfactorily managed or is no longer available, Business Membership will be withdrawn.
Each restaurant/café must renew their Business Membership annually and submit an application for approval by the Coeliac Society of Victoria Inc. New stickers and signs are issued annually.
